Hello everyone! Although this was intended to be a guided walking tour, I have decided to make this a virtual guide of what I would cover in my African American History tour if I was on campus. The tour is 5 stops and would last approximately 45 minutes to an hour. I numbered the stops based on the route I would take around campus. There is so much African American History to discuss and I understand that I cannot cover it all in one tour. I just wanted to create a project that would cover the gist of what happened over the years and what makes UofSC what it is today. I have already reached out to the UofSC Visitor Center and they are very interested in learning more about African American history and how to implement some of this content into general campus tours.
